The Ladies Section

The Ladies Section was formed in 1931 and has a membership at present of over sixty ladies. They have given great service to the club and valuable support in many ways over the years. In 2006 the section celebrated their 75th Anniversary.

The ladies have contributed great service to the club in many different ways. Catering for the league games and open competitions and their efforts are most appreciated. They have their own ladies nights, opening and closing days as well as a number of parish games and frendlies.

They have a Tuesday afternoon for their club games and can play competitions during the day if the green is free. Ladies participate in open competitions and usually do quite well. At present they cannot play in the evening until 8pm and must be accompanied by a member. The exception to this rule is when a mixed pair's competition tie takes place.

They have over 60 lady associate members.
